John McMillan is an interim manager who specialises in strategy, delivery, and operations, especially for launching and re-launching in high tech companies. John is an excellent addition to a team that has technical and selling skills, but that is less strong on delivery. He is respected for bringing in a reality check, for defining goals and key issues, identifying appropriate resources, getting group decisions and achieving results.
John learned his skills with ICL in the 1970s. Since then he has run small software houses, created a software division for a publisher and created a number of ventures.
As President of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, John maintains his skills in building and motivating teams of volunteers, working with the press and local councils and delivering results.
